Launch of KDDI Russia

New York, NY April 29, 2011 - KDDI America Inc., the U.S. division of KDDI CORPORATION, a Global Fortune 500 company and worldwide leader in international telecommunications services announces today that it will add a new subsidiary in Russia.  The local name for the subsidiary will be KDDI Rus LLC and the office will be based in Moscow, operations will begin officially on 2 May 2011.  As a result of this new office the total number of KDDI offices will consist of 91 overseas bases in 58 cities and within 26 regions around the world.

KDDI has been providing services to Japanese firms primarily in the Moscow and St. Petersburg areas in Russia, but in establilshing a local subsidiary, KDDI will now be able to expand operations across Russia and improve their overall preparedness to meet customer's needs more extensively and with a greater degree of flexibilitiy.

Russia is enjoying a considerable amount of growth and has an increasing number of Japanese companies expanding into Russia.  KDDI Russia will provide a wide range of consulting and solution based services, systems integration and support for corporate network development, especially for Japanese companies operating in Russia.
