1. WAN Support (70%) - Network Equipment (CSU/DSUs, Cisco Router/Switch, Juniper SSG etc.) Configuration and Installation. - Line coordination (Analog, ISDN, T1, DS3, OC3 etc.) with carrier and vender - Maintenance and Troubleshooting. - Hearing and analyze customer needs and requirements, and feedback to Engineering group. - Documentation (Create and update customer profile such as NW Diagram, Router configuration and Contact Info) - Check inventory for equipment. 2.LAN Support (30%) - Install new/rebuild PC and configure HW, services, settings, directories, storage etc. - Familiar with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) - Investigate and troubleshoot issues. - Repair and recover from HW or SW failures. - Documentation (Create Customer Profile, Operational Information, Trouble History, etc..) |
