- Q1 How do I apply for KDDI Dokodemo TALK?

- Q2 What kind of information do I need to have at the time of application?
- You need to have your address in the US, cellualar phone number, Social Security number and valid credit card information to apply.
- Q3 Can I apply for KDDI Dokodemo TALK with my prepaid cellular phone number?
- Yes. You can apply for KDDI DokodemoTALK with prepaid cellular phone number if you have a biling address in the US.
- Q4 How long will it take for my KDDI Dokodemo TALK service to be activated?
- Your service will usually be activated on next business day. However, in some cases, the activation may take longer than 1-2 business days.
- Q5 Can IchibanTALK Kakehodai Plan's minutes include KDDI Dokodemo TALK calls?
- No. KDDI Dokodemo TALK calls are not included in Ichiban TALK Kakehodai Plan's minutes.
Billing
- Q1 Is KDDI dokodemo TALK calls usage billed from the cellular phone provider?
- No. KDDI America will issue the invoice for KDDI Dokodemo TALK usage.
- Q2 How are the charges calculated?
- KDDI America changes for a 1 minute minimum per call, then for 1 minute increment.
- Q3 What other charges will appear on my bill other than basic charges and communication charges?
- You will see the following charges on your monthly invoice:
- Federal Tax: 3% of total communication charges
- State Tax: Percentage determined by your State
- Local Tax: Percentage determined by your County
- Universal Service Fund (Established to help provide affordable, high quality communication services. All telecommunications service providers are required to contribute to this fund by the FCC): USF rate are subject to change. - Q4 What are my payment options?
- KDDI America accepts payment by credit card only.
- Q5 What is the billing cycle?
- The invoice is issued around the 15th of the month for all usage from the first day through the final day of the previous month.
Account Termination
- Q How can I disconnect the service?
- Please call the KDDI America Customer Support Center (1-888-533-4649), or send an email to talk@kddia.com with the following information:
- Name of the account
- Registered cellular phone number
- Account number
- Termination date (Except weekend and holidays)
- Reason for termination
- Billing address and payment method after the termination
Mileage
- Q1 Can I register a mileage number that is registered under a name other than the account name?
- No. The IchibanTALK account name and the mileage account name must be the same.
- Q2 Can I register a mileage number for a carrier other than JAL or ANA?
- No. Currently we only accept JAL and ANA mileage accounts.
